Josh opened the event singing 2 songs, "O Holy Night" and "Ave Maria", and closed the Ceremony with, "Believe".  This year's tree lighting ceremony benefits One Heartland, an organization that works to improve the lives of children impacted by HIV/AIDS.

Other stars participating in the benefit included singer Bettina, actors Jonathan Bennett from the movies "Mean Girls", "Veronica Mars", and upcoming "Van Wilder 3"; Robbie Amell from "Picture This" and "American Pie Presents Beta House"; Christopher and Kyle Massey of Nickelodeon's "Zoey 101" and Disney's "Cory in the House"; Oleysa Rulin from the "High School Musical" films; Ross King from KTLA; and Ellen K of KIIS 102.7 FM.
